Your tasks: 📌
Coordinates activities related to industrial maintenance, buildings, utilities, infrastructure, and support services.
Establishes the direction, priorities, and objectives for the Facility and Maintenance functions, in line with the operational strategy, approved budgets, and production requirements.
Leads and coordinates the team, ensuring alignment of responsibilities, work plans, performance indicators, and priorities.
Ensures the implementation and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance plans, as well as maintenance programs for buildings, utilities, infrastructure, modernization, and energy efficiency initiatives, through the direct managers of the Facility and Maintenance areas.
Monitors the overall condition of critical equipment, buildings, installations, and utilities, and determines measures to reduce technical and operational risks.
Provides the governance framework for the management of spare parts, materials, consumables, equipment, contracts, and services required by the supervised areas.
Coordinates strategic and operational relationships with suppliers and service providers for maintenance, facility management, utilities, infrastructure, and support services.
Proposes, manages, and monitors Facility and Maintenance budgets, analyzing costs and initiating optimization and efficiency measures.
Analyzes performance indicators for the supervised areas, including equipment availability, response times, costs, utility consumption, compliance with maintenance plans, and service quality.
Ensures the effective use and continuous improvement of systems for managing work orders, interventions, inventories, equipment, buildings, utilities, and reporting.
Oversees the management of utilities and technical systems across the company, including electrical installations, water supply, sewage, heating systems, compressed air, HVAC/ventilation, fire protection and emergency systems, and other support systems.
Ensures that all Facility and Maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legal requirements, internal procedures, and applicable standards.
Coordinates modernization, expansion, infrastructure improvement, technical process optimization, and energy efficiency projects for production, administrative, and support areas.
Participates in the selection, onboarding, development, and performance evaluation of employees within the supervised functions, in collaboration with HR.
Ensures, through direct managers, that employees are properly trained and comply with work procedures, health and safety regulations, fire safety requirements, environmental standards, quality requirements, and internal policies.
Accountable for the overall performance of the Facility and Maintenance functions and for initiating corrective actions in response to significant deficiencies.
Proposes improvement, reorganization, or disciplinary measures when deviations from performance targets, safety requirements, quality standards, procedures, or agreed objectives are identified.
Maintains the confidentiality of all information accessed and ensures the responsible use of company data, documents, budgets, contracts, and resources.
Your Profile
Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Building Services Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Specialized Education
A Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Industrial Management, Maintenance Engineering, Facility/Building Management, Energy Efficiency, Project Management, Operations Management, or related technical fields is considered an advantage.
Relevant Certifications / Training
Certifications or specialized training in Maintenance and Reliability Management, Building/Facility Management, Energy Efficiency, Asset Management, Project Management, or related disciplines are considered an advantage.
